These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of bukt.co.uk, bukt.app, and related websites, applications, and services provided by bukt ("we", "us", or "our") (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.

1. About bukt

bukt is an event management platform that helps users manage bookings, availability, locations, profiles, and related workflows. Features and availability may change as the Service develops.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service. If you want to use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly at support@bukt.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or in a way that infringes others' rights;
• upload malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the Service;
• harass, abuse, impersonate, or mislead other users;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
• use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications;
• misrepresent your identity, qualifications, fees, or availability.

We may investigate and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to users or the Service.

5. Bookings, content, and user interactions

Users may create bookings, invite others, share profile information, and upload content such as images and venue details. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for your interactions with other users. bukt does not guarantee the conduct, availability, qualifications, or performance of any user, venue, or third party.

6. Plans, fees, and payment

Some features may be offered free of charge while others require a paid subscription or usage-based limits. Where paid plans are available, pricing, billing intervals, and feature limits will be presented before purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice where required. Continued use after a change takes effect may constitute acceptance of the updated terms for your plan.

7. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services such as authentication providers, mapping tools, email systems, or payment processors. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, design, and documentation, is owned by bukt or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Service as intended.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including beta or preview features.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

bukt is a software platform. We do not employ users, vet every booking, or guarantee outcomes of events arranged through the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bukt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold bukt harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the Service is no longer commercially reasonable.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were most recently revised. If we make material changes, we will provide notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
